Abstract

This research highlights the importance of defensive information strategies in promoting diplomatic stability while examining the complex dynamics of these tactics in Pakistan-Iran relations. It addresses a crucial information vacuum in the use and effects of these tactics in this context by examining how they affect diplomatic outcomes, public narratives, and the reduction of cross-border tensions. The strategic use of information warfare between Pakistan and Iran is still little understood, despite its increasing significance in influencing public opinion and diplomatic relations. Moreover, the study's primary objectives are to: (1) assess how information warfare affects public narratives and how that affects regional stability; (2) determine and analyze the key strategies that both countries use to sway public opinion; (3) examine how Pakistan and Iran use public diplomacy to influence narratives. This research further offers thorough insights into how well defensive information tactics promote diplomatic stability and regional security by combining strategic evaluation with empirical analysis. It enhances the broader debate on information warfare and its effects on international relations within the Pak-Iran geopolitical context by providing useful suggestions for policymakers to improve diplomatic ties and promote regional stability.
