The cooperation between India and the Philippines has significant implications for the region, particularly in the context of the South China Sea dispute. The Philippines' territorial claims in the West Philippine Sea are supported by India, which has emphasized the importance of adhering to international law and respecting the sovereignty and sovereign rights of nations.
