Abstract

In the contemporaneous epoch, the custom of information and communication technologies (ICTs) has embraced eminence not merely in the field of education, but in other fields as well. The main objective of this research paper is to acquire an understanding in terms of the worth of Information and Communications Technologies in educational settings. Although individuals are making use of ICTs, they can carry out their job duties in a manageable manner but in an educational setting usage of ICTs has enriched the educational system. In addition, its utilization has rendered a significant contribution in leading to the progression in the implementation of tasks and functions. Before, individuals make use of ICTs, they need to possess adequate knowledge and information. One needs to be well-equipped with ICTs, before, making use of it. The main areas that have been taken into account in this research paper include the benefits of ICTs in education and the role of ICTs in bringing about changes in learning. The research delivered optimistic results in the direction of ICTs in educational settings.
